Even if you don't know your spiritual gifts yet, you probably know what types of people groups or activities excite you. That's a great place to start serving selflessly! Most of the time we only really "discover" our spiritual gifts after we have begun serving for a while.

The best way to start discovering your spiritual gifts is to step out in faith and serve selflessly in an area of your passion or interest. Maybe try a few different things. Over time you and others will see how God has gifted you.
Just remember, at times God may call us to step up in faith an area we hadn't expected! That's one way He stretches your faith. Occasionally people have discovered it's their real passion.
Be open to the Spirit's leading! There are no "perfect" ministries, and don't hold out for a "perfect" match. Try something in faith. That's how you learn what your gifts are (and not). It's always a process because we are always following God and growing.
