Anchored Study

Giving Generously

Once we’ve placed our faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit goes to work in our hearts methodically exposing those areas of our lives that still need to be turned over to God’s leading.

Mindset? What's Your's Set On?

Your mindset is your basic outlook, assumptions about the world or attitudes. It is the main lens through which you look at yourself, and life.

A misunderstanding of Christianity

Many misunderstand Christianity because they have never actually heard the gospel, or they grew up in a legalistic church that was all about rules. They could be rejecting a wrong understanding of Christianity, not the gospel itself.

"Gospel"

The word gospel literally means "good news."

"Living Obediently"

Is living obediently about following a bunch of rules? Check lists? Trying to earn God's favor?

Disciplined Use of Time

"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:15-16 ESV).

Paul the apostle

Paul wrote more of the New Testament books than anyone else. But he started out as a bitter opponent and persecutor of the church. At that time his name was Saul.

Believers, Christians, saints and disciples

While sometimes we may hear people make a distinction between a "believer," a "disciple," or a "Christian," the truth is the New Testament uses these terms for the same people. In fact, often Christians are called "saints."
